Cynthia awoke one morning with the word satori lingering in her mind, and although she’d never heard it before she sensed it would have deep significance. When she found its definition, she was moved to name this transformative engagement in its honor.
In the Zen Buddhist tradition, satori refers to the experience of kenshō, which means “seeing into one’s true nature.”
